Lipa City, 28 Oct. 2019 – Real Molinillo spoiled defending champion La Salle FC’s Season 3 Division I debut in the Lipa Football League with a 4-2 victory yesterday at the Aboitiz Pitch of The Outlets at Lipa. Mark Roy Gulang opened scoring for Real before Samuel Panghulan equalized for the champions with a long chipped shot which goalkeeper Christian Rongavilla misjudged.

Ted Regalado restored Real Molinillo’s lead with a cool left-footed finish from the right after a period of domination by his team. Further goals by Tyron Regalado and Ezra Lozano gave Real Monillo the cushion of a three-goal lead before Vince Endozo scored late on to make the scoreline respectable.

With its second straight win, Real Molinillo broke clear at the top of the table with 6 points, three clear of Green Stallions FC, who rebounded from a 2-6 rout at the hands of Real Molinillo to continue its mastery over guest team Real Baraco with a 6-1 victory.

In Division II, Legends FC continued to light up the division with a dominant 9-1 win over Lipa Emmanuel FC. Jorge Kasilag shocked the Legends by shooting Lipa Emmanuel into an early lead, but the more experienced Legends soon regained their poise to score nine without further reply.

John Muhallin and Rafael Chavez completed the scoring for the Legends, who are now three points clear of Lipa Emmanuel at the top of the Division II table and are enjoying a vastly superior goal difference.

The match was spoiled after a brief altercation that had Lipa Emmanuel’s Jorge Kasilag and Legends’ Nicollete Alquizalas exchanging blows. Both received straight red cards from referee Nizer Divina and will be suspended from playing in their respected teams’ next matches.
